I was in Seattle last week, on what I expected to be my last work trip. While I was there, I was asked if I\u2019d consider un-resigning and staying on to help with a thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you read my post about about deciding to leave<\/a> – and how I felt like I was leaving before I was \u201cdone\u201d – you\u2019d be forgiven for thinking staying would be an easy choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By last week I\u2019d spent the better part of three months handing things off and starting to plan – ok, more imagine than plan, really – a new normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The idea of being \u201cfunemployed\u201d had grown on me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the other hand, I meant what I said about wanting Axon to succeed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I worked with someone<\/a>, years ago, who said \u201cshow me you love me, don\u2019t tell me you love me.\u201d Investing (more) time and effort definitely felt like showing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So I thought about it, got input from some colleagues, and Dawnise and I talked it through when I got home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And this morning I agreed to rescind my resignation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Is it the right<\/em> choice?
