My New Favorite Chinese Soup
The other night I decided to get Chinese takeout for dinner, and since Dawnise was out of town, I figured I might as well make it a bunch of things that she doesn't care for and, hence, we don't order.
I ended up with Mongolian Shrimp, House Special Chow Mein (slimy Chinese food, as an old lost friend of mine called it), and what's become my new favorite Chinese soup - House Special Seafood Noodle Soup with Spicy Sauce.
The soup came in two containers - a styro full of noodles, seafood, and some veggies, all dusted with a rather intimidating looking layer of chili, and a separate container of broth, which was beyond intimidating, and straight on into scary red.
So good.
The restaurant has a picture on their on-line menu, but believe me when I say it doesn't nearly do it justice.
