Hosting Migration Update
Google Apps looks pretty good, but their mailing list functionality seems pretty busted.
And hosting MovableType on my ReadyNAS ain't gonna work.

Shortest path to least hassle is running a box in a closet at home. I've done the home server since '99 and for various reasons, had hosting accounts since 2006. The hosting accounts are going away this year -- they have been unreliable and annoying to deal with. I spend more time dealing with them than I do keeping marvin up to date. A low end mini-ATX will run cool, consume little power, and will happily run whatever software you want however you want to run it.
