Damn that Aaron Sorkin...
It started innocently enough - Dawnise suggested we watch an episode or two of West Wing.
Nearly four hours later we stopped - having held our breath through Commencement, Twenty Five, 7A WF 83429, and The Dogs of War.
Wow.

Speaking of television: did you watch Angel? Didja like it? We did Seasons 1 & 2 over the last month or so, I mostly like it but haven't quite decided whether to go on.
Thoughts?
(Oh, also: get Flight of the Conchords if you haven't already. Or at least watch clips online and then Netflix it if you like it. It's very funny.)

"West Wing" was one of the most amazing shows ever on television. It was particularly painful for me to watch it though, since at the time, Bush had been recently elected. It almost destroyed me to listen and elate at the idea of reasonable, intelligent, benign President and Cabinet that the show presented and then turn on the news and realize who was really in power. Argh!
Toward the end, after Rob Lowe left and some of the writers migrated on, the show wasn't quite as wonderful. But everything - from the beautiful, flawed theme song (which they finally fixed), to the fey humor made my heart soar everytime Nay and I watched it.
