Death and...
Taxes.
It's (already) that time of year again.
I typically do two passes through TurboTax - one to help me remember all the random stuff I'll need, and one "for the money." If we owe them money, we file at the last possible moment. If they owe us money - even a little - we file as early as possible.
After all, they're not paying me interest on this money I've loaned them.
I started the first pass while Dawnise was out last night - and aside from the house sale, which is just more paperwork than I normally have to wrangle, it looks like this year will be pretty straight-forward.
And initial signs are positive that we'll not be writing them a check, which is always good.
Knock on wood.
