Tea, Dammit!
A friend of mine uses a LiveJournal icon that makes me smile whenever it accompanies a post:
When I was growing up, "tea" meant Swee-Touch-Nee with Lemon and Sugar.
To this day, when I'm sick, or just want "comfort tea" that's what I reach for. But after leaving Southern California, it was tough to find.
It could be had on the Internet, or from the distributor in NY in (partial) cases.
Dawnise discovered a while back that QFC (the Northwest's Kroger store) would special order it, but we didn't have a QFC near us.
When we moved into the new house, there was one down the street, and Dawnise got me two 100ct boxes of "my" tea. Is that sweet or what?
I brought one to work, and I'm having a cup now. We don't keep lemon around the office, and my previous attempts to bring it with me, while in grad school, didn't work so well (tended to mold before I used it all), so I'm drinking it straight. But it's the right stuff.
Thanks, beautiful.

Keep a bottle of lemon juice. It's not the same, but it works.
