Another Blue Car?

Just got back from the Subaru dealer - we're a two car household again, only this time, instead of having two of the same car in different colors, we have two different cars in the same color.

After investigating late model used vs. new, we bought a 2008 Subaru Outback 2.5i PZEV. Consumer reports pretty consistently likes the Outback, and after test driving it and comparing it to the Forrester, we liked it, too.

We took advantage of the Costco auto buying program, which saved us haggling and got us a couple hundred dollars off the dealer invoice (essentially eating into their holdback). Combined with the current $1500 cash back from Subaru brought the difference between new and used to under 15%.

So at this point, if I choose to ride in the rain and cold, it's cause I'm stupid. No more excuses.
