Rated "V" for Vah-vah-vah-voom
Last night Dawnise and I did a double feature of local theater - first the Edge Improv, which performs each month on the first Saturday, and then - after a brief intermission - we caught The Atomic Bombshells burlesque show as part of this seasons "After Dark" series.
By modern standards, the Bombshells are downright tame. There was no full nudity, no simulated sex acts, just genuine vaudevillian burlesque. The acts were playful and well choreographed, and the ladies voluptuous and hella-sexy. They had an island audience (average age probably late 40's and very evenly male/female mixed) hooting, hollering, and acting like they were half their age.
Good times.

i must have read that wrong, did you just say hella? i thought that was just an annoying nor-cal word. evidently it has infiltrated washington as well.
